Title: Bullying WebQuest
Description: This WebQuest focuses on awareness, education, and prevention of bullying. Students will learn about what actions comprise the two main forms of bullying (traditional and cyber), how to handle bullying situations, and how to prevent bullying. At the end of the WebQuest, students will create personal narrative-style picture books to share with younger reading buddies.

Special Considerations
If you are completing the WebQuest at school and your school computers cannot access Youtube, you may have to provide alternate clips from TeacherTube or SchoolTube or convert and embed the video clips in the page directly (a Weebly Pro service only). Other options would include having the students read personal accounts, look at public service announcement posters, etc. On Day Two, you can create your own free Wallwisher account to have an interactive K-W-L Chart for your students (or a general posting board, if you like).
Time Allotment
During Week One the online WebQuest activities are designed for students to complete in about 45 minutes in the computer lab each day. Week Two, which focuses solely on the creation of the picture book, is more self-paced, giving students time to pre-write, draft, peer edit, revise, and publish in class. Whatever is not finished in-class will be homework.
